Master of Arts in Film & Media(Preliminary & Final)
To provide knowledge, broaden concept and develop skill, enrich and introducing to the latest technology and support the students in the transformation of attitude in Film and Media education.
Two-years Master’s program with Preliminary comprising of 76 credits(Preliminary 36 and Final 40)
It is a level 9 Masters course as classified by Bangladesh National Qualification Framework (BNQF). There will be two semesters in each academic year and a student is expected to complete 76 credits in four semesters for Two-year MA program and 40 credits (Mixed mode) in three semesters in one and half year and 40 credits (Coursework) in two semesters in one year for One year MA Program.

Two Years Masters (Preliminary and Final): For admission into this program students are required to have a Bachelor of Arts, Science or Commerce degree (Pass or Honors) from a recognized university or affiliated college under the National University of Bangladesh or a similar degree from a college/institute outside the country.
To obtain the One Year MA (Final) degree in Film and Media Studies a student will have to complete minimum 40 credits for Mixed mode or Coursework. To obtain the Two-Year MA (Preliminary & Final) degree in Film and Media Studies a student will have to complete minimum 76 credits.
